The Kingdom of Bhutan is in the high Himalayan region and even in the 21st century is virtually undiscovered by western explorers. The film follows an expedition group through churning rapids and into thick sub-tropical jungle, on an adrenaline-fuelled mission across the hidden buddhist kingdom. With extraordinary access to isolated regions of the country, the team completes an epic journey to become the first group of people to successfully navigate the Mangde Chhu River.   BBC 2 - Discovery Network.
